Scienexus believes that a standard end-to-end process enables us to provide clients with a consistent quality service.  The processes described below outline our approach to the core areas of service we deliver.

Scienexus recognises that process alone will not deliver a great outcome and that engagement with the client to develop a good understanding of specific business needs will enable us to deliver the goals as defined.  Good dialogue underpins our engagement and has three key aspects:

  • Understanding the goal – Scienexus looks to understand what the ideal and current state is, to ensure that any solution addresses any business capability or performance gap.
  • Client involvement – Scienexus does not understand your environment or your business as well as you do.  It is essential that we communicate openly and frequently to ensure that our delivery and your expectations are clearly understood and are being met successfully.
  • Quality listening – Scienexus will ensure that we spend more time listening than talking, in order for us to understand your needs before we suggest solutions.

Pricing

When you work with Scienexus you can be certain we will work with you to identify the right pricing model and costs that meet your budget and goals.  Scienexus solutions make no compromise on quality when providing a cost competitive solution.

Common pricing factors

The following factors are commonly considered when setting a service price:

  • Project scope
  • Size and Duration of the assignment
  • Skill and experience mix required
  • Team numbers required to complete in time frame
  • Project risk

Common pricing models

Each solution is priced uniquely and is based on one of the following models or a variation:

  • Time and Materials – A client pays for resources on a time basis.
  • Output based – Price and payment based on a clearly defined delivery output.
  • Milestone/Staged approach – A pre-agreed price is paid after key milestones have been met or deliverables have been provided.
  • Blended mix – A variety of factors are considered related to duration, skills mix, experience, client support etc.
  • Model above plus Bonus – A bonus is agreed with the client dependent on the delivery to schedule and agreed quality criteria.  Where a bonus is allocated a lower price is agreed for the standard models.

There are a number of other common pricing models that have not been discussed here as Scienexus understands that all businesses are unique and that the market is dynamic.
